The largest paddling festival in the Pacific Northwest will take place on May 6-7, 2016 at Lake Sammamish State Park approximately 15 miles east of Seattle. The first day consists of industry training offered by the paddle sports manufacturers to area retailers and employees to familiarize themselves with the latest products. The second day is open to the public and visitors can demo a wide range of paddleboards, kayaks, canoes and participate in clinics and guided tours. If you haven’t yet learned to paddle or would like to try to new sport like SUP, the Northwest Paddle Festival is a great opportunity to do so.
